I usually enjoy Jonathan Cole’s writing. This one was ok and I’m glad I read it but I thought it not as good as his others. The politics got rather tedious, and the different writing styles didn’t work for me. The plot was interesting though.

One of those books where you can just tell the author is having a good time. Form forward. Didn’t feel close to any of the characters but loved the thrill of the construction enough to love the book overall.

Liked the sound of this - crime, multiple unreliable narrators etc - but although there were some amusing bits, it was a bit slow in parts and the ending was a bit of a let down.
