I'm enjoying this series. This book feels like a link in the plot more than a stand alone book, but I'm excited to see what's in store for Will, Halt and everybody.

Reading about the differences and similarities between the situations Horace and Halt and Will and Evanlyn were in and contrasting them was very interesting.

I just want to say. Halt is a certified tsundere. Like?? How can one not call him a tsundere. All the work and effort he put in just to leave Araluen and go after Will.

My least favorite of the series, but the parts with Halt and Horace help distract from the strange character moments for Will and Evanlyn.

God, men lidt mid. Jeg blev ikke træt af den, men det føltes som om det bare var et vente stadie uden noget rigtig handling. Men jeg anerkender det var godt for det overordnede plot.

Halt’s journey to get Will back is intense especially at the start. Will’s struggles in this are heartbreaking. But I absolutely love this book. It so well written and if you pay attention you can catch hints about what is to come.
