Funny and spicy! I had a lot of fun reading the sequel. The chemistry between Lachlan and Lark was fantastic and I really loved watching their story unfold. The only thing I was just a little disappointed was with the suspense. It was incredibly short. I thought there’d a bit more of the serial killing aspect tied in but it was very very brief. Still a great read but I had to give it 4 b/c of that. The villain didn’t really have a big part in the story but everything else was great! Can’t wait for Fionn’s story next!!!

Lachlan is so much better as a MMC than his brother. And this book had me laughing and giggling along with them. I enjoyed this one so much more, though as always the “bad guy” is an afterthought since he barely makes an appearance in the book. I also enjoyed the spice for this one so much more and the narration had me blushing the whole time.

I found this to be a great addition to the first story. I love that we get to see the secondary characters develop a full story line. It was just as exciting and entertaining for me as this first book, if not more. It definitely delivered the same witty banter, spice and intrigue as the Butcher and Blackbird. I cannot wait to read the last book as well. All the characters are easy to enjoy and I love that they each get their own full story while still including small areas of character overlap with the other couples.
