Guys. . . I am so sorry. . . but this was a DNF for me. I absolutely love the idea of this book and I am a huge fan of Gaiman's work. That being said, this was a major disappointment. Absolutely zero-character development, our main character is boring and I am just not invested in the story. Why should I care about Door and her journey? I know next to nothing about her? The best part of the book is the 2 hitmen. It felt like a chore reading this book. *sigh* onto the next.

I have just discovered Neil Gaimen's writing for adults. I cannot get enough of him at the moment and I am reading his children's stuff now simply to enjoy more of his writing.

Neverwhere is set in London but the London of your imagination. There is a quest and an angel and lots of magic but it is also funny and down to earth. Couldn't put it down.
