I’ll come back to this book but I’m not sure when. I’m sure it’s good.

Emily has just arrived in Ireland to start over and has lined up a dream job with her favorite author, Sibohan - the person to help her through her darkest days, to help her overcome her writer's block. Sibohan also owns a bookstore that her son, Kieran, manages. Emily and Kieran bump heads over many things, but once Sibohan's health goes downhill, the two have to figure out what's best for Sibohan.

I loved sort of “seeing” Ireland as it's a country I didn't realize I didn't know much about until I read this book. Everything seems so very descriptive and well written. I also loved how Kieran sort of brings Emily out of her shell. After growing up with her not-so-kind mother, Emily is finally learning what life could be like and she's enjoying it. My only (small) complaint would be that I would have loved to see Kieran 's POV, but we only get Emily's.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You love fun side characters, some self-discovery, and a more sweet and cozy than spicy romance read.

Unfortunately, I thought this was just okay. While the premise sounded cute and loved the setting, for me, the romance fell flat. I don't think I ever understood why our main characters liked each other and Emily's inner monologue was immature at times. The dialogue was forced, some of the plot was pretty unbelievable, and I never got sucked into a story. I will say, towards the end, I felt like we were finally getting more depth from our characters but it was too little too late. I wanted to like this and I'm sad it wasn't a win for me.
