I remember this video on The Dodo and I thought it was such a great story. My sister sent me this book for my birthday and I'm so glad that she did. It was awesome to read the detailed account of his life with Nala and his travels with her. It was a great read.

I have been intrigued by the title and the cover since I personally also have a cat named Nala who has changed my world upside down. I got it for that reason but I stayed because the story itself was amazing. I learned so many lessons through Dean and his Nala. I highly recommend this to everyone.

4.5/5 stars. Honestly, it’s an interesting insight into the travels of someone who decided to set off on a bike around the world. Even though I’d only heard of his YouTube channel in passing before this book, it was exciting and intriguing to read about Dean’s adventures. Myself I’d never have the courage or the fortitude to do the same, is it’s fascinating to read about. It was also heartwarming to read about the different animals he helped along the way: it’s the kind of thing that makes you want to start an animal rescue in one of these countries yourself.
Hope he writes more later on about how his adventures continued after the pandemic lockdowns ended.
