FNAF but add a lot more fur. In all seriousness, this was enjoyable but it didn't hit the marks it needed to. The robots were well-done and full of complex messages...but man some of their choices didn't make since plot wise. Not a bad book though, just not for me and what I want out of a robotic apocalypse.

I finished sea of rust and was delighted to see that there was more content to devour from its universe. The beginning was hard for me to take in but at a certain point it had me. Overall I think it's a really unique perspective and while sad, it retains hope throughout the story.
(Audiobook wise)
The narrator was grating at first with the chosen voice for the protagonist but enemies it grew on me and I came to find it endearing. I really really loved his performance with each character and how they were brought to life.
Highly recommend!
