The art is so gorgeous!

And that little mushroom is my everything. He is so gosh darn adorable!

The dystopian world is very believable too (in that, it perfectly fits within the sci-fi genre). I love how dark and grim things seem to be, and here's the little mushroom just wanting to find his spore.

A good well written post-apocalyptic sci-fi. Loved the world building and awkward relationships between the main characters.

This book is written so uniquely. While reading it, I could see and feel what our little mushroom saw or felt throughout everything. With An Zne, I too am learning more about humanity, which is so unique in its own way. I’ve never picked up a book that made me understand/see humans more.

It’s been awhile since I read a dystopian or post-apocalyptic style of a book, so it was like a hit in a face in some chapters due to the harshness of the world. With the type of world the book is in, we see more of what humans are capable of and what it means to be humans.

Towards the end (chapters 26-27) my heart was pounding so much, it hurt. I know the next book will be a complete rollercoaster.

I love Lu Feng and An Zhe’s dynamics. They create such a cute couple. I also love how every single person in this books supports our couple no matter what lol.
