I totally forgot to write a review for this one...

This was such a cute novel! And on top of that, it got great world building, character development, and plot!!!
Even though I say it's a cute novel, I personally feel like the focus on the romantic relationship (and platonic relationships) vs the plot is very well balanced.
Can't wait for the next novel and see where everything is going!!!

I loved to see our little mushroom fearlessly look for his stolen spore stolen by humans. The author really isn’t afraid of killing off a bunch of people, even some more visible characters, so beware of getting attached. Lu was such a softie for An Zhe (and only An Zhe lol) but our mushroom was too dense to comprehend that. We had a lot of world building, which I found super interesting and will most certainly be useful for the next book, since it won’t need so much explaining and we can enjoy the story more. Really interesting story and I’m already starting the next part!
