The Slippery Slope was another eye opener about VFD, I was absolutely foaming at the mouth for more answers to the mysteries and hope the kids can find love and safety soon as I fear it is all coming to an end.

¡Por fin avanzamos algo! Después de que los últimos 4 libros me tuvieran quejándome de que el misterio estaba paralizado, en esta entrega al fin descubrimos algo más. Para ser sinceros, no son descubrimientos sorprendentes o que no hayamos podido imaginar atando cabos, pero con este tomo sí tuve la sensación de que la historia avanzaba y que nos dirigíamos a algún sitio. Esto es especialmente importante en una entrega donde la acción brilla un poco por su ausencia, pero nos reencontramos con personajes de libros previos y conocemos a otros que incluso aterrorizan al Conde Olaf. Todo esto combinado puede ser el empujón que necesitaba la saga para acabar con fuerza.

I feel like this book is one of the more suspenseful books in this series. Loved it like every other one.

LOVED this one. The VFD mystery unraveling is so enticing for me, and seeing the Baudelaires evolve is great.

All I can now imagine is Lemony Snickett filling a notebook with all the possible full forms of VFD.
The mystery has finally starting to unfold. I am glad that my love for this series only grows as it goes on. I am actually sad as the book move towards its conclusion. But I am glad that (hopefully) the Baudelaire misfortunes will come to an end.
Anywho, this book was kind of sad. It was fun and exciting for most part but sometimes it was too sad.
