I made it about halfway through the book, and then realized I was just like scanning through the rest of it. It's far too descriptive for my tastes. The story is good, but I felt like there was so much descriptive writing that they were just adding extra words for fluff. If you like descriptive books, this is a book for you

This series was really good and the ending was great. It was spooky and creepy and made me want to turn on all the lights. The backstory of the island and what the plague doctors and ghosts were doing was pretty interesting. I would've liked a bit more on that and less on the trio getting constantly hurt until they can't even walk. I did like those dangerous parts, it was just a bit much sometimes. But overall I loved the series and it was super fun to read.
