This book is trashy smut. But if you picked it up and read the cover and still want to read it you know that. It’s a great at what it’s trying to be. It’s not a good example of love, consensual sex or relationships. But it’s a great read.

READ AT OWN RISK! - so much smut it’s not even a joke anymore… it’s wattpad on paper. The mafia story line never fails to overwhelm the book and there was no plot just s✨x constantly…

After watching the Netflix movies of this book, I didn't expect to actually read the books. However, I was approved to read an arc of the 3rd book coming out at the end of next month, so I needed to get the first two books read.
There were some minor changes from movie one and book one, but overall it's very much the same. Very little plot and lots of sex. I'm not sure if it's because of the translation from Polish to English, but some of the word choices had me cringing! 😬 Massimo is hot, but toxic AF! I don't think what Laura and Massimo have is considered love, but that's just my opinion.
I think I've also found a Romance subgenre I'm not all that interested in...Mafia Romances. 🤷🏻 If you love them, give me some of your best recs.

This was a good read. I watched the movie before the book and I like Laura a lot more in the movie than I did the book. She was a bit immature and annoyed me at times. Massimo was good too but some of his qualities were a bit meh for me.

Massimo gives Laura 365 days to fall in love with him after having visions of her for some time. He orchestrates a plan to get her in his grasp and when he does she falls hard despite trying her hardest not to. The ending left on a bit of a cliffhanger so I will be reading the second book!

The spice in here was 🔥 🔥.

This book as the same pacing of a middle schoolers wattpad story. Massimo is also abusive, a gaslighter, and literally SA's the MC. Gross.
