I pushed through 80% and it was straight porn. That has a time and place, and I'll suspend disbelief for the kidnapped by the mafia trope, but the main character is irritating. She is overly obsessed with clothes, shoes, and downing champagne. She seems to have no flaws unless it might lead to a sex scene (I'm afraid of flying. Oh no, he'll distract me with sex) and no real interests. I don't care how hot the sex scenes are if the characters and plot are lacking.

Started reading this as it was a recommendation from a friend. The spicy scenes were alright. The rest I kinda had a problem with. The writing isn’t great. I am not fond of the word choices and would find myself cringing at times. Stockholm syndrome is strong with this one. I don’t even really like the male lead enough to justify it. He’s cool with her when they are alone (sort of) but a super prick around literally anyone else? Going to try the second book but I really regret this purchase!

Helt okej bok!

365 days is - in my humble opinion - a book that tried to fix 50 Shades of Gray as much as 50 tried to spice up the Twilight series.

To its credit, the book and the movie are 90% similar, something rare. Form there is downhill only.

The plot twists are simple, the characters are shallow and with the emotional depth of a water bowl.

That is not love but Stockholm syndrome.

Plus, I don’t know a person who has a uterus that doesn’t understand the concept of pregnancy as little as Laura.

I wanted to read this because of the movie. Sadly, the movie was definitely better than the book. I felt that there were a lot of errors when they translated it from Polish to English. There were many parts that seemed repetitive as well. Im surprised I finished this, honestly.
