Y'all know how much I love Gail Carriger. When she described Divinity 36 as "The Aliens are coming for us and they want our K-pop", I was so there for it.
It took me a minute to wrap my head around this world she has built. Having read her Crudrat book did give me some insight into main character Phex early on. But I wouldn't say it's necessary to read that first, as this is Book 1 in new Tinkered Starsong Trilogy.

I really enjoyed this read! Super quick and engaging even if I didn’t understanding at first the world I was jumping into. I loved that I’ve never read about a similar world and really enjoyed the coziness of the found family. Already excited for the second book!
