I love the Witch City Mysteries because, unlike in real life, everything just WORKS OUT for the protagonist. I can read them if I'm feeling anxious and trust that they won't be stressful, just fun. And I love the cat and the slight hint of the supernatural peeking through the stories. Good times!

This was another fun read in the ongoing WITCH CITY MYSTERY series. I continue to find Lee, a likable heroine. I also enjoy her continuing romance with Pete. Although...why are these two not living together yet?? (lol) Aunt Ibby and the cat O'Ryan continue to be great secondary characters. The mystery in this one was well laid out with some good twists and turns. However, I did figure out the "who done it" very early on, but the "why" and the "how" kept me guessing right up until the end.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Lee and company get up to next.

I'm a fan of this series and I think it improved with every new installment.
This book started slow but after some chapter you're involved and you cannot put the book down.
The plot was engaging, I loved the idea of the cold case that involves Aunt Abby and her high school year.
It was great meeting again the cast of characters and reading about the changes in their life.
Maralee is a wonderful characters as all the others. I have a soft spot for O'Ryan and I liked his antics.
The mystery was full of twists and turns and, even if it was not hard to spot the culprit, it kept me hooked till the last page.
I look forward to reading the next installment.
Highly recommended!

One of my favorite in the series so far. I love aunt Ibby and very happy to have her as the focus of this mystery.

I really enjoyed this book. I like the fact that we’re getting more backstory for Aunt Ibby as well as exploring Lee’s new job as a field reporter. A solid series.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid for this review.
