This is one of the better music memoirs I’ve written. Lucinda Williams life is very interesting, though often tragic and her voice comes through as a true poet, an American writer. I really enjoyed reading the book and couldn’t help it. Compare to some other music memoirs that I’ve read recently. Of those this is definitely my favorite.

I’ve always felt a connection with Lucinda Williams, like we are kindred spirits. After reading her memoir, I see why. This book is a lovely companion to her amazing music. I appreciate her vulnerability, the sharing of her soul in this memoir and also in her song writing. She is a true poet, an artist, a treasure.

This isn’t the book I wanted from Lou. Wish it had been more about the music.

Thank you, Lucinda. #love

It seems this is the second book I’ve checked out from the Denver libraries that has Cheeto fingerprints throughout its pages. I must know who this culprit is. I can’t imagine it’s two different people that have left Cheeto dust in these books. I can’t sleep. I must know the identity of Cheeto fingers.
