This book starts off about a girl rising up and becoming a star within the fashion world, then about 3/4 of the way through it takes a sharp turn that stuns you.

This is a powerful book about fashion, friendship, and girls supporting girls.

Juno Dawson has the ability to draw you in with her writing, dealing with hard, controversial,  real topics. Meat Market is book 2 of the London series, and after Clean, does not disappoint.
Meat Market focuses on the modelling industry, in front and behind the camera.
We've all got our opinions on models, fashion and brands. This story pokes at the surface and makes us think a little deeper. The perfect models that we see in the glossy magazine are photoshopped, and are real people just trying to help their family, children. They may be put into risky situations at the start of their career, and may be asked or told to do things that make or break their career. This may lead to their mental deteriorating, turning to alcohol or drugs.
This fast paced novel makes the reader think below the surface, not just on this topic, but in all things in life. What is important to you?
