THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD.
It was super descriptive, really forcing the reader inside Nora’s Head, yet it was not tedious. There was never a. Single. Moment. In this book that I even skimmed over, I wanted to read EVERY WORD IT WAS FANTASTIC. The way mental illness was portrayed was very real and immersive (probably because the author draws from her own experiences). Still, Nora had her own voice and personality past her mental illness and was very self aware which made the book somehow real but yet light hearted and comical. PERFECT SUMMER READ! I will definitely be re-reading very soon :)))))

I love love love love LOVED this!! This book was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. The perfect conclusion, an accurate presentation of how difficult agoraphobia can be and the effects it can have on one's life. The relationship between Luke and Norah was so darn cute and fluffy, I loved them both so much.
Arghhhhh guys, this book will be big. BIG. I so want everyone to read this and remember it forever.
Full review to come. I don't even care that I have work, sacrificing sleep to read this was so worth it.

I liked the descriptions of agoraphobia and OCD. I hated the ending. Why did we just skip over the most important steps of recovery just to create a happy ending. Lukas and her mom also didn't feel like real characters. This should be 2 stars but the topic saves it.
This book would be excellent to hand to readers who loved Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon, especially . A powerful and consuming look at OCD, anxiety, and agoraphobia, through the eyes of Norah, a 17-year-old who can't leave her home. Well-written, well-paced, and almost too real.
There are scenes related to cutting and self-harm, so that's something to keep in mind.
On the other hand, there are a lot of scenes with a therapist and, eventually, exploration of medication for managing of symptoms. I also really appreciated the author's note at the end about how personal the story was and yet how every experience of mental illness and every course of management is different.
