I picked this one up on a whim and a vague impression of positive reviews on Bookstagram. It was so precious and sweet! I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for a rom-com that isn't too spicy and I'm looking forward to reading the first two books in the series, as well as the forthcoming fourth book!

I really really like the Lovelight series. I ended up reading them slightly out of order but that didn’t change the experience that much. I think B K Borison might be one of my favourite active romance writers. She writes reliably good romances with perfect levels of pining and spice.

Finally caught up on all of B.K. Borison's books! Now that I have read all the books in the Lovelight series, I can confidently post my order of favorites: 1. Lovelight Farms, 2. Mixed Signals, 3. In the Weeds.

I think after reading Lovelight Farms, I was the most excited to read Layla's book. Especially once I found out that it would be a romance with Caleb! Unfortunately, I think I hyped it up too strongly in my head and I didn't end up enjoying it as much as I was hoping too. Layla and Caleb were a very sweet couple, but I didn't view them as anything particularly special.

This book was so cute. It was well written and adorable. I thought it was clique at all the right spots while still be original. I will definitely be picking up more books by her.

I think I like small town interconnected standalones?! If they're all like Inglewild, yes please!!
I again adored this book. The practice dating was adorable, everyone could see them falling in love. I love Caleb and Layla. The are both rays of sunshine's and romantics. The bakery setting was also perfect.
These books are the epitome of cosy, low angst, low stakes, comfort romance reads imo.
