Probably would've been higher if it wasn't completely unrealistic to
win every single race,
and her grudge with her family was explained a little more. Overall a cute, simple slow burn romance with a third act breakup.

I’m quickly becoming addicted to Elsie Silver’s writing! I love her characters so much! Cole totally pulled at my heartstrings and Violet was such an inspiration. And I’m still pretty stoked about finding an equestrian based series that actually gets the horse part right!

I absolutely loved this book! This one was a lot more emotional than the first one in this series. Cole had me tearing up and swooning! I can be a real sucker for a second chance romance and Cole and Violet were no different. I enjoyed seeing their dynamic in the past vs the present and how it changed and progressed as they rebuilt their relationship. I think the emotional baggage that Cole had to work through and overcome was very realistic. I appreciated how Violet supported and pushed him to do that. I would 100% recommend this book!
