Witty and wise indeed, bitter tho! But to be fair he did have a hard life!

I enjoyed being able to get an insight to Wilde's life which Is very fascinating. It includes a few pieces by Oscar and a collection of his quotes, a biography and authors thoughts.

Tis darling, of course, and Wilde is one of the wittiest and most wonderful writers that has ever lived. However, none of the quotes have sources so hot have no idea where they came from and I'm not in doubt that some of them are mis-attributes or at least mis-quoted. It's just a fun little book that looks adorable on a shelf.
However, it should have been green since that was Oscar's favourite colour.

I never liked Oscar Wilde but still wanted to try and find a way I could empathizes with his work, life, and even personality but in conclusion it turns out the hopes are vain. His work mainly consists of things he doesn't know and his ignorance gets the best of him, he is never trying to correct himself. Such as women- the misogyny, I truly detest how he uses words that inscribe that have no purpose but to degrade women, hate on them , make them the inferiority and still use them as to serve their desires.

After reading The Picture of Dorian Gray last year, I decided to buy this beautiful little book. And I'm not disappointed in it at all, as I absolutely loved it! It has definitely urged me to read his other works
