This is just a delight. Light hearted nonsense. Adore it.

I like the different inspirational and philosophical topics discussed in this volume. From not giving up and pushing yourself to achieve your goal to the ideologies behind AI and the state humanity would be in a future where AI is prominent. The bonus chapter with Akira in Borderland cameo was funny. Odd, but funny.

CW: Blood, Death, Zombie violence

This is such a fun series! It gets more and more ridiculous and funny with every volume. This one had AI involved. I loved the sci-fi twist. This series continues to surprise me.

What are the odds?!?! Anything in Akiras bucket list seems possible after the gang come across a hotel run entirely by AI, giving Akira the chance to scratch off a few items on his list. The gang also runs a spartathalon, maybe not the best idea when you have to constantly outrun zombies. I love that despite the simple and basic stories in this series there's always an honest character moment where they get to help someone they meet grow and move on from things during the end of the world. It speaks truth even in the silliest of times. I love it for doing that.

This volume continues the gang's journey where the anime left us, on their trip to the northernmost point in Japan. The art style of the manga is noticeably less polished than the anime and the plot of this volume in particular is off the charts in absurdity. A fun continuation but a hard sell in terms of continuing the series in its manga form.
