Not my favorite Bones book. The story progressed pretty slowly and was a bit hard to follow. Some of the characterizations of minor people didn’t seem to follow for where the story ultimately ended up. Definitely not the same level of suspense and action that usually happens in this series.

My first Tempe Brennan novel. I wrote at the time, I didn't think she was too "cliche." I really liked the multiple settings of Guatemala City and Montreal.
