This was my first Shakespeare piece and it was better than I thought how man is really overrated. I get the hype but not all of it, he’s work is obviously amazing just not my main style.

Read this for English class and we discussed it in detail. Not only did we study the technicalities and the actual plot of the play but also reasons and emotions behind the text.
I was satisfied. Second play of Shakespeare that I read.

neil perry would be proud of me for reading this, as i am proud of him for existing. rip king you would have loved taylor swift and pheobe bridgers.
anyway, this was so short and yet i was still confused. i only understood it because my copy is a side-by-side version with modern english, but omg Shakespeare just be saying words.
Hermia is so real, love that she’d rather be a virgin for life than marry Demetrius and her hatred of being short, she’s just like me <3
