This is an engrossing detective/sci-fi mash-up with plenty of humour thrown into the mix as well. The ending had me running to Google to figure it out but that doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment of this bizarre book.

This had some of Douglas Adam's wonderful sense of humor and his interesting plot twists, but overall I wasn't into the characters and it plodded something awful.

Could not possibly rate this book- utterly baffling, left me completely confused yet also understanding more about the world than I thought I ever could.

Both hated and loved every word. There was a point in the middle where I felt it was the worst book ever, yet within the next two chapters it was the most amazing, mind-blowingly amazing thing I’ve ever set my eyes upon.

This book was completely bonkers, yet charming and witty at the same time. I feel like you need to be fully immersed in the book to understand it, and even then definitely needs a second read before I’ll be able to grasp it fully (and I use “fully” loosely) However, i most certainly won’t grudge it. In fact, I’m rather looking forward to reading it again already, despite the fact that I only finished it long enough ago to start writing this review.

Douglas Adams is truly one of a kind.

Espectacular.
