The more I continue with this series, the more I like it! This book is probably my favorite of the 4 so far, although I also really liked the last one. The last one was definitely in the realm of science fiction, and this was more into fantasy/mythology in that you had the land of the way station (echoland) where the echos of the living go after they die to prepare them to separate from their loved ones and move on into the afterlife, wherever that may be. You learn more about the origins of the outskirts and the author does a great job describing this complicated world. Cole continues to learn more about his own powers and faces challenges both internally and externally. This is a great contribution to the 5-book series and I look forward to the next one!

So remember when I said that Crystal Keepers was my favorite in the series, well I lied. Yeah well Death Weavers came along and put a quick end to that. At this point in the series I am going to start sounding like a broken record because I have already told you what I love about this series. However I will continue to say that the detail that goes into every single one of the new kingdoms is outstanding. Necronum and Zeropolis would definitely be two kingdoms I would want to visit or live. Bizarre I know but when you can vividly picture yourself walking through the world then you know the author has done his job. This series has fast become one of my favorites from Brandon Mull. The excitement to see how it all ends is at a high.

I thought it was good. Look he's not Brandon Sanderson, but this book was certainly worth my time.

This was definitely the best one in this series! I was engrossed nearly the entire time and I just really really liked this one! I loved the references and characters from the Beyonders series and I loved the whole echolands part. So much happened in this one, and I can't wait to see the ending in the next book.

Although, my heart broke when I found out that Dragonwatch isn't coming out until next year now... How will I wait so long??
