Have read this author before quite happily, but this book wasn't enjoyable. It's not that old, but it hasn't aged well. Honestly not worth the read, I regret buying it and suggest skipping it.

A good easy to read book. Ideal for sitting by a pool.

i usually love jenny colgan’s writing, but this one didn’t hit quite the same. still a nice read nonetheless, but nothing groundbreaking.

Review - I was pleasantly surprised when the heroine literally struggled with anything work related, and her love life got incredibly tangled. One thing I didn't see coming was the guy she ultimately ended up with, which was nice. Although the beginning of this book made me feel like it would be boring and a conventional story of loss leading to love, but it wasn't. A really good light summer read.

This was entertaining but nothing really special. This had light & fun atmosphere and some scenes made me laugh. I wasn't really fascinated by the story because it was so predictable.

I really liked Sophie: she was amazing. She had been rich but she was still so kind & mature and I enjoyed her dry humor. Almost all characters were quite stereotypical and that was a bit shame. I was a bit disappointed in love triangle and romance overall. There was one love interest that came a bit from the bushes.

I think Sophie's arc was amazing and well written. It was enjoyable to follow her growth. Romance didn't work here, I didn't feel the chemistry and the ending was way too sugary for me.

Another fantastic tale from Jenny Colgan. This riches to rags story felt fresh and fun. Loved the main characters can-do spirit and the sweet love story. Slightly predictable but in the way I love!
