I've not listened to or read a story quite like this in a long time!
It's written in the 2nd person POV, so it took a little bit of getting used to!

The writing is beautiful and almost poetic in the descriptions of feelings, emotions, and physical form.

It's a love story between a dancer and a photographer who are drawn towards one another, yet they battle with the acceptance of the world around them, struggling with a place to feel and call home!

A love story that is threatened to be torn apart by fear and violence.

I really wanted to love this book and parts of it were written so beautifully, but I just didn’t enjoy the second person narration and I felt I had to work too hard to understand it at times.
