Blood for Blood
* I listened to the audiobook, any mis-spellings are because of that*
Sigh. Sequels are always disappointing.
The premise of this book is that now, Yael must deal with the aftermath of her attempted murder of Hitler, and the political effect that had.
Things I liked about the book:
-Getting to know Luca's character better
-Continuing Yael's story
-Meeting Miriam
-Getting a glimpse of the resistance
Things I disliked:
-The muddied plotline; it didn't really feel like they were working towards a singular goal throughout the book, as they had been in the first, and thus it detracted from the reading experience
-Every single chapter Felix narrated (and his character arc)
-How some characters just came and went through the book as though they would be important, but then they weren't
-Killing Luca was just plain rude.

I really enjoyed Wolf by Wolf and after the ending I had to read this book. Blood by Blood is action-packed and fast moving. I really enjoyed the development of the characters from the first book and the integration of new characters. This book kept me hooked from page one and I found that the ending tied up the story very well.
