This was nothing like the film. There were some things that were the same, except for the most important detail. He f***ing got away!!
I really enjoyed the film, so of course I found out it was a book much later in life. It started out great! It's nice to hear the story in more details than the film. It started to drag a lot at the end, but then you can't be mad since it's real life... great read! How far we've come in security issues in the past 50 years!
Entertaining book but overall nothing that incredible. It was interesting to see the methods that he scammed the various industries but overall it seemed as if the book was kind of glorifying crime. Would recommend to someone looking for an entertaining story and nothing more.

There’s no point in finishing the book when it’s fake

Simply an amazing story. Nearly all the security in banking can be traced back to Frank Abagnale's exploits. What a character.
medium-paced
Honestly, such an entertaining read. The truth of any of this story can be speculated about given who wrote it, but it’s still impressive to consider. Confidence can truly go a long way.
Also, it should have been a HUGE red flag when one of my exes talked about idolizing this man. Because though impressive, it’s sad to think of a life like this.

Insane. Egomaniac to the max and a psychopath. But it was the late 60's so Abagnale could get away with a lot. Interesting true account. Just as good as the movie.
Apparently this story could be largely fabricated or at least embellished, but I was entertained by it.
