I just couldn't get into it. I love short chapter, but these jumped through time and places a lot. I couldn't really connect with the writing style, either.

i thought i would like this but it was really boring honestly like some parts were good but its like i was waiting for something to happen and nothing happened i liked how it showed how Mary grew up and all but just,,, ugh
For a book about bi pirates this was a little boring (to be fair piracy is not quite as exciting historically as Pirates of the Caribbean makes it out to be). I quite liked Mary Reade as a character but her chemistry with Anne Bonny could have been better honestly. It’s great for fans of romance, I would have preferred more action and some historical accuracy concerning the characters (Jack, Anne and Mary mostly)

This was a good book to read after a difficult book. It was entertaining but also put up some very interesting topics.
The only difficulty I had was the romance focus and the whiplash the romances gave me.
The amount of bisexual pirates was a big plus.
