Such a fun summer read! Avery and her parents and sister are spending the summer at a family camp in the mountains. She ends up on a journey of self-discovery complete with summer fun, a cute boy, a band, and some new friends. I love how West’s characters always grow a lot and develop deeper relationships. This book also had me googling family camps right after the first chapter and I found one quite close to me. It’s kind of expensive but it’s going on the bucket list for sure!

This book wasn’t poignantly written, and the dialogue was cringey, but it was exactly what i look for when i read a kasie west book. easy.

cute fluffy summer romance, it was just what I needed no high stakes or angst just summer camp and vibes
DNF after 100 pages, this was a really cheesy YA with too many characters and highly unrealistic dialogue
