I should stop reading bridgerton books… I’m tired of the repetition and love stories that don’t really move.

This book is of course not a 10 or a book that you love iit so much it finishes in just a few hours however the topic in this book was really deep and made me sad for these characters micheals guilt because of the things he git after johns death, his undying love towards francesca was very well written and that is the same for francescas guilt because she believed it was a disgrace to love any other person ,especially his cousin, to john but eventually realizing that she couldnt stop her feelings. Overall it wasnt the best but a good read

God, I love watching people pine for each other. This was a delight. I’m very intrigued to see what the plan is for Francesca’s season of the show.
It took me a long time to finish this book. Unlike the other Bridgerton books, I didn’t really feel pulled in by this one as much. Maybe because it’s already book 6 in this series and I’m getting a bit tired with it. I didn’t relate to Francesca or Michael at all. Their conflict felt very superficial and I wasn’t infested in their relationship at all. This may also be shaped by the Netflix series, because I like that version of Francesca and the Kilmartins a LOT more. If there had been more deep and raw emotions about how Francesca dealt with her loss, this book would’ve stood apart more from the others. Right not it’s starting to feel like I’m reading the same Bridgerton story again and again just in a different font. I hope the next two siblings have some more unique characteristics.
