This is a new book in our library, and just the title and cover drew me to reading it. I'm glad I did! I have loved stories of Vikings for years (Note to self: read more stories about Vikings), and this one didn't disappoint! I found the bravery, the determination, the *SPUNK* that Helga possessed really made this story fabulous! I appreciated the underlying theme of believing in oneself, despite naysayers telling one that they can't be what they want.

I also love the bits of fact at the end of the book, and there are also links to more information about Vikings!!! Very cool, indeed!!!

LOVE her determination and she is adorable. Not thrilled with such unsupportive parents.
