This was not what I expected but I loved it. It's sweet, suspenseful, funny, and the characters are great. Everything was just great.

GAH. Yet another YA novel with a good story, ruined by terrible writing. I wish publishers would realise that teens (and adult fans of YA) actually want to read well-written books, and won't just accept any old crap.

I LOVED this book! 5 stars <3

It isn't one of those typical cliche main famous character books you get, it's sooooo much better! The character's in the book are so lovable and I didn't want the story to end.

I usually don't find american books that funny (I'm a typically english blunt humour person) but I was wetting myself reading this.

It's a romance but there's action/thriller thrown in too, which makes this story so addictive as you can't put the book down (or in my case, kindle), as you have to know what happens next.

I would defo read this book if you haven't already, IT'S AMAZING!

What a read. The writing was good and then Dave Matthews popped out of nowhere and it was very abrasive. It was the book version of Ed Sheeran popping up in Game of Thrones.
The story was a little silly and entirely too long, but overall wasn't the worst thing I've ever read.
It was mid for me.

This book is one of my favorites. I love that its a longer ish book, so it takes me a little longer to read {even though I could read it in a day}. I LOVE the romance in it between Hawkins + Joie and their love / hate relationship at the beginning / middle. Then there is the suspense part. The 'grimm reaper' will keep you on the edge of your seats, needing more. The storyline seems kinda cliche at first, teenage girl following a band, but it's really not. at all. It's different than most books where girls fall in love with lead singers of bands. I can't even describe it. I've read this twice so far, and even the second time I read it, I could not put it down. Amazing book.

riley is Joie's gay best friend. he looks like an abercrombie model and really is rhe best friend a girl could hhave. he's protective of Joie and tries to be brave even when he is scared to death.

Um, I need more JT Hawkins, like, immediately.

Thank goodness a sequel is coming out soon (though not soon enough for me!)

Though this was not a perfect book, it had romance, suspense, mystery and action, and a really likable heroine and a super hot rock star!
It was truly a fun read. Once I started, I could not put it down. I loved Joie and Hawkins. They had great chemistry, and I loved their little back and forth spats. Even though this is a 500+ page book, I finished it rather fast. It was fast paced and entertaining. I would definitely read this again!

I don't know what's wrong with me!! Because lately I've been crying in a lot of the books I'm reading, and I cried in this one too!! I'm not even sure if it's worth it, but I'm sleepy as fuck so that might be the reason.

Hmmm to put it simply, I loved this book! It made me laugh, swoon, and scared the crap out of me in the last 40% or so. I would definitely recommend people to read this, I seriously needed something like this after reading captive in the dark, and I'm supposed to be doing the bookTubAthon and this wasn't even on the list, I just read the description and said to hell with it, this seems like something I would like, and was certainly not disappointed!
So grab this book people and start reading it!
