This book was EVERYTHING.
I didn't realize it was book one in a series and now I'm desperate for book two.

I love all the MMCs. Eli is the sweet golden retriever type, Seven is unhinged in the best way, and Atticus is a brooding safe of a man that I cannot wait to crack open. The FMC, Aurora, is such a badass. She's overcome a lot of trauma and is learning how to truly be herself and not some perfect image easily digestible for others.

That ending??!?!??

I just know this series is going to be a top favorite for me.
I would do unspeakable things for the ALC of the next book.

Hooked on page one! Our FMC Aurora has had quite the life upon running into our 3 MMC- Elijah, Seven and Atticus. They make her a deal and the rollercoaster begins! The perfect amount of spice and suspense! My heart was pounding! I couldn’t finish this book fast enough. I feel empty and need book two NOW!

The scream I scrumpt at that cliffhanger!! I'm getting the next book now.

The audio book was fantastic. All four of the narrators are now my favorite and they were all perfectly cast; I can't imagine anyone else doing these characters. I want to listen to this again just for Grayson Owens, Sean Masters, Devon Ryder and Lessa Lamb.

But then I'll have to listen a third time because the plot?? The chatacters?? The sex???????
5 stars across the board. I love Aurora, her evolution from victim to badass was written so so so well.
Seven, Elijah, and Atticus were perfectly unique from each other, but had such great chemistry together. I love how they interacted with each other and Aurora.

Did I mention I loved this book?

Hmm it's been a minute since I read an Elena Lawson novel! Welcome back!

Aurora is fleeing from an abusive ex when she accidentally hits a man (Seven)with her car. Thankfully he isn't hurt badly but instead of calling the police, his two friends (Eli and Atticus) strong-arm her into working as a housekeeper for them in their secluded home for six months. There she's slowly introduced into their world which involves thievery and a little bloodshed.

Overall the plot slowly develops as the relationships do. Although parts of it you'll have to look past how crazy it gets especially when they fly to another country for a haircut. And how Aurora is suddenly a bada** when presented with a violent situation.

Seven - is a tattooed beekeeping psycho with a soft side for Aurora
Atticus - is suspicious of her immediately and starts to look into her history.
Eli - hiding ghosts

Tropes you'll find:
-mfmm
-Forced Proximity
-Mafia
-Revenge plot
-Protective MMCs

Triggers:
-Violence
-Death
