Finally, it's done. The story started really well, and then it went downhill. The end is kind of abrupt.
I didn't like Kurose. I believe that's not how therapy works, or at least that's not how a psychotherapist acts. Rather than a psychotherapist, Kurose was more like a manipulative psychopath.
I can read about problematic and messed up relationships as long as it makes me feel something, but this one was boring.
I liked the idea of the story, but it just didn't click with me.

As problematic as this seemed sometimes I think that it was a good call to stick with it until the end. After learning more about the characters and really understanding where they are coming from I can say that I still ship it and am happy that they were able to work things out. This ended the way that I was hoping it would and it was a wild ride to get here!

Right to the end, I still don't really know how I feel. This volume feels softer but more serious, and I kind of wish this level of depth was utilized in the previous volumes. We learn so much about the characters here, vs. in two chunks in previous volumes, that I think a lot of the "issues" readers may have with the serious might have been better tolerated and understood if things had been revealed earlier.

I don't know if the point of this series is to make readers uncomfortable but wanting to read on anyway, but I've noticed with a lot of manga I've read lately that pacing is always an issue. In an effort to draw the story out, so much filler is put in (in this case, smut) and the real plot is kind of added in at random, generally fairly far apart. As a result, a lot of stuff gets crammed in at the end in shorter series like this; honestly if I hadn't known it was only 6 volumes, I probably would have stopped reading after volume 2. It was only because each volume is so quick to read and I had them all out already that I even bothered.
