Picked this up because it was short and I wasn’t in the mood for anything else. There’s not much to tell about it. It was somewhat cute (I guess) but since it was so short I didn’t really connected with the story or the characters. It was more like something to read to pass the time for me and definitely not a book I’d think about again. But at least I read something instead of scrolling on my phone, so there’s that.

The name choices for this cute fun read were impeccable. Audrey Love and Theo Luck were meant to be together. Add a little bit of spice and it was the perfect short story.

I think a sign of a great novella is when it ends you want to keep going on. I have read one other book by this author, The Dead Romantics, which is hands-down, a favorite of mine. This was a great book as well and I really enjoyed it. Audrey, Love is cursed in love in the sense that everyone that she kisses the very next day they find their soulmates. Naturally, this makes her rather unlucky in love. When her best friend is getting married, she has to work with the soon to be brides, best friends to find him when he goes missing the day of the wedding. I really enjoyed the venture of the story and the characters. Highly recommend and I’m looking forward to reading more in the meet cute series.
No one plans a 6pm outdoor wedding in Connecticut in February. A quick Google search shows that the sun sets at 5:22 on Feb 14, and the average highs and lows are 39 and 21 degrees, respectively. This plot hole made me irrationally angry.
