The plot went a good constant pace and characters were better built.

Loving this trilogy! Arkarian is my favorite.

I liked The Dark almost more than The Named, for certain romantic reasons.

I found this to be a bit more cliched than The Named, but that didn't actually bother me like I'd expect it to. I still deeply love each and every character and the magic in this book is almost alive.

This is actually pretty intense. Also, the new points of view were great apart from the fact that it made Arkarian lose some of that mystery that I always thought was so vital to his character. In a way though, it worked out for the best as you get to see sides of him that you wouldn't really expect or ever see without being inside his head. It almost makes you feel like you share a secret that nobody else knows.

The magic continues with this trilogy and I feel like I've got a little bit of that magic to hold in my heart for a long long time.

The Dark by Marianne Curley – I will go to the mat with you that this is actually the best book in the series. Great arc, perfect tension, cool character developments! Chef’s kiss of YA! Happy Reading!
