This book series is so cute!

Of course, like any book, there are problems that the characters face. And those problems would be pretty (very) sad- if they weren't put in such a light hearted way. Plus, the ways they get resolved are so imaginative and full of little fairy tale and nursery rhyme references. I love them!

Mostly, I think I have a soft spot for anything mythology/fairy tale based. And this book adapts all the fairy tale elements so well! From the names of the second generation characters to the modern technology that is incorporated into their "Ever After" land, everything just fits together perfectly. A+ worldbuilding.

Cerise was really featured in this book, and it was great because she's my favorite character in this series. Also, I knew her secret. I knew it! Of course, there were plenty of clues. But still, it always gives me a little thrill when I figure out something before it's revealed...

Maddie. Maddie was also great in this one as usual. Her conversations with the Narrator are great. (They make me wonder who the Narrator is, seeing how they went to Ever After High... Milton Grimm's brother perhaps? Hmm?)

So, now, they really have to solve the problem of Wonderland, right? I hope that happens in the next book! Whatever happens, I look forward to more of the pure candy-coated adorableness that this series holds.

Delightfully entertaining. Especially when Maddie Hatter interacts with the narrator. Just as cute as the webisodes, though in a different way. I like all the details and allusions that can be worked into a 350 page book that just don't make it into the two minute webisodeds.

Apple can be quite infuriating, but I love her all the same. Raven's just great

A cute, short read. I didn't like it as much as the first one. It's definitely very juvenile, which I knew going into it, but this one seemed even more so than the first one. Maybe my tolerance for the words hex, fairest and so on has diminished. The plot moved very nicely, except for the one theme from from the first one that she still didn't resole by the end of this one. The decision Raven made in the first one is still being rehashed and not resolved. Obviously, there's going to be another one. Overall a cute story, I'd definitely recommend to a younger girl, or for parents to read to their daughters but not something I'd recommend to an adult.

It’s a feel good book for sure, the characters are loveable, the story and the writing style are easy and make it a simple but enjoyable read.
Is it the best book? Absolutely not, but I love the world it’s set in and I’m very attached to the characters.
And I was excited to see Darling Charming, even for just two pages, because I love her so much.
