Did not seek this out but ended up reading after hearing Nora read the first few chapters on her podcast and I found myself crying at her description of summer. It is a great book and I devoured it. I also loved the movie and was amazed at how well this book built on the characters that I kind of adored and wanted to be friends with. Really great.

Also the workplace scenes reminded me a lot of the workplace in Digging In. Idiot child bosses must be more of a thing than I realized.

A great beach read especially if you've ever had kids.

My favorite mom is Carla. She is single, wild, and ready to mingle. She quotes Vin Diesel and cusses like a sailor. She is funny.

Time to go rent the movie....

That was enjoyable, funny, and also really refreshing. I finished the Popsugar 2023 Challenge with this book RIGHT at the stroke of midnight. :)
