Finally a story I didn’t figure out immediately! Page turner for sure, easy to read, not easy to solve, very interesting storyline. Got a little creepy for a bit and I had a difficult time with the child abuse portions.

I can see where “lovers of literature”might be turned off by this one but I read this one while quarantining and I must say: a no brainer and a page turner - I ate it all up.

Two local women and a six-year-old girl go missing from an affluent neighborhood 11 years ago. Both women are found dead but the girl is nowhere to be found. Present-day the girl is reunited with her family and everything we thought we knew about the families affected is put to the test.
