Read this book as part of my sons ww1 study. This is a grate way to introduce a difficult topic to younger kids. Recommend this book for age 8 and up .

This story is actually really beautiful, I really want to watch it but haven't gotten round to it yet, the reason I could not give it 4 stars is because the writing itself was just 'meh'. Nothing really stood out for me and that kind of just lowered its standing for me.
