Man, oh man, did this book give me all the feels. Serenity is so sweet and has this innocence about her. When she realizes her best friend doesn’t feel the same way she does (as much as you wanna not like Theo you still kinda like them) she decides to find someone she can trust to Get some new experiences
lighthearted
This was a cute read. I deducted a star bc the overuse of “darling” made me cringe so much. Overall it was a cute story. Haven’t read one similar to that plot specifically and it kept me entertained to binge this in one sitting

I tried to gaslight myself into liking this but I hated both characters and their 'love story'... So many unnecessary smut scenes instead of them FREAKING COMMUNICATING 🤦🏻♀️
this read like an episode story and that’s not necessarily a bad thing i had fun now this book is H*R*Y omg but i loved arch this was like a ultimate delusion where a situationship works out and im not mad at that what i didn’t like was that one she was a virgin im tired of that in every single book and two when tyra was found she immediately went to arch like go to ur family?? idk and they broke up before she was kidnapped so why would she stay there and for that long i thought that was weird AND the beginning when arch coddled serenity like a child when she showed up at his door crying was weird asf

I LOVED Asher. Like truly. He was perfect…… until page 218. Then he broke MY heart. I was so angry. (Still am). Like I understand, but I don’t. Serenity was really relatable when it came to how she handled things and how she felt. I’m glad she was able to forgive him even when I can’t and because I can’t this book is four stars instead of five. I know tragic. The fact that I finished the book and he is still haunting me on page 218 is really frustrating like extremely frustrating. I will fall asleep thinking about this tonight and feeling hurt over this.
Anyways, glad I could finish one more book to meet my reading goal even though it’s revised for 2024!

My first book by this author and she didn’t disappoint
Following the Windsor series, I had high expectations. Archer and Serenity's story didn't disappoint! An amazing love story that defied adversity. Not without challenges and tears, this story had me speed reading. Despite absolutely hating the third act breakup that Catharina is notorious for, I can't stay away from her books. If you like a billionaire, brother's best friend romance, you will greatly enjoy this book. Be prepared to shed some tears!
