If you like the Kindred books you'll love this one

Amazing story from my new favorite author. Several places made me laugh out loud, the characters hook you from the beginning and the storyline flows amazingly. The descriptions of the settings are vivid enough to make you see them in your mind but not unnecessarily wordy.

Cannot wait to read the next books in the series.

The flaming red hair is an instant turn off for me. I would probably give it more chance but her red hair was mentioned multiple times during first 10% of the book and I just can't.

This is a fun, funny, entertaining, hot, paranormal romance with angst. I did not expect to find this book as hilarious as I did and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I picked this book up. It is very well written with detailed and descriptive world building that really allow you to escape. This is a fantastic read!

This is a rare book I DNF. I went back to it a few times but I can't drag myself through it. I've gotten maybe a 1/3 the way through.

I love sci fi and read most of the brides of the kindred ( got burned out after a point) but was excited about this series blech.
