I Loved the writing style of this book , and the story itself was much better then any of the movies I have watched!
Written as a series of letters and journal entries that give the novel the feeling that you found it among some old papers. It is wonderful.

Rounded up from a 4.5 because Frankenstein just slapped harder, but this was mad fun.
It was ok but seriously dragged in the second half. I def expected dracula to be more of a character. I can see how this spawned so many derivative works because it definitely didn't do the interesting things it could have.

This book is better experienced narrated than read. I've read this in book format and couldn't really remember anything, comic format was predominantly misogyny. While the narrated version even though still misogynistic, was actually kinda feminist for its time, and because of all the diferent narrators and tone was actually a enjoyable experience and I was able to give it a real chance.

Great book altogether, good premise, easy to read, not my kind of ending tho.
