If there's one thing i love it's a book about a fake musician hanging out with real musicians!

Lil waters made a name for herself in country music in the 70’s after decades of trying to break into music but then returns to her hometown of Walla Walla after a farewell tour while her fame is waning.  I really liked parts of it but maybe it was too vast-I feel like the concepts could have been at least 3 separate books (moving from farm to Tacoma and everything she was escaping from, becoming a female country singer in Nashville, and aging star reclaiming her craft).
