i literally devoured this book. the chapters are so so short and the pacing is pretty dynamic.

although i wasn’t super attached to any of the characters i don’t really think i minded all that much because everything seemed to blend so well together.

the ending left something to be desired only because they gave us .0862 seconds of happiness after 300+ pages of misery and tragedy

Very introspective story about growing up - the author touched on so many points regarding fitting in and what it means to be “normal.” I was honestly moved by the relationship between both Gon and Yunjae as well as Yunjae and his family, and found the love/friendship depicted in the book to be very moving. Would definitely recommend this book!
