Very cute! I'm a bit old for it but I loved Dr. Dolittle's manners through out the story. <3
I loved these books as a kid. Although I don't remember much of the stores from this one. Lillian was only so/so interested. Didn't fight me about reading it, but didn't spend much time taking or speculating about the story.
I know it is a classic but the racism bothered me a lot

Not at all like I remembered. Very short, I read it in less than an hour.
