it does drag at times, as you'd expect a book dedicated to analysing the minutiae of a 2003 Gywneth Paltrow movie to, but I like how Ayoade's brain works and his narration on the audiobook makes for a really good listen. funny! good! worth the three quid I paid for it!

I think it would have been really funny if I had been listening to the audiobook read by the author, but because I wasn't it was kind of hard to get into and I found it boring.

"To be moved by someone who has done something bad means that a bad person has the capacity to connect with us. That they haven't somehow forfeited their humanity."

"The news confirmed their worst fear that things were terrible everywhere and there was nothing anyone could do about it apart from keep abreast of developments. I've avoided the news ever since."

Chaotic and witty.
